Design Concept #2 - (Wilson lake as holding pond)

     Create an artificial recirculating whitewater course that uses Wilson lake as its holding pond.  This method would prevent having to create a seperate holding pond on the site.  The water would simply be pumped from below the "low pool" lake level, and up x number of feet to the start pool of the course.  Then the water would flow down the artificial channel and empty back into Wilson lake, with a conveyor belt taking boaters back to the small start pool.  Location of such course would have to be carefully considered given the high elevation of Veterans park and its tortoise shell like shape.
